Residents have opportunity to recycle electronics; donate shoes
Keep Cobb Beautiful will host Electronics Recycling and Shoe Collection Day 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Saturday, May 19. The event will be held at two locations: Sprayberry High School, 2525 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, and Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road, Marietta. Many electronics will be accepted at no charge, including computer monitors, microwaves, telephones, cell phones, video games, printers, cameras, VCR's, fax machines and radios. Televisions will be accepted for a $10 fee. Shoe donations will also be accepted for the Soles4Souls nonprofit organization. Any style of shoe will be
