Inclement Weather Policy:
When Cobb County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Wellness Center - sponsored classes, events and programs will be postponed to a later date. The Center will be opened for drop-in activities if staff can safely open the Center; call to confirm.

Workout Central allows individuals who are in appropriate physical and mental health to use the exercise equipment independently. Although we do not provide physical therapy rehabilitation or personal training, our Fitness Leader, Kevin Stevens is onsite to educate each individual on how to properly use each piece of equipment.
Prior to using the equipment at Workout Central, you must have an Orientation with the Fitness Leader. You must also have the Physician's Authorization Form completed by your physician and a Senior Wellness Center Release Form filled out. Please click on the links to access the PDF to print a form, before you come into the Center. Call the Front Desk at 770-528-5355 if you have any questions. The Forms are also available for pickup at the Senior Wellness Center. Hours of operation of Workout Central are:
Monday – Thursday’s: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Friday’s: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
The room is only open when the Fitness Leader is on duty.
Based on demand, the equipment is available during the posted hours on a first come, first served basis. As demand grows, you will need to sign up for specific times to use the equipment.

Workout Central
The Senior Wellness Center is proud to announce the opening of Workout Central equipped with the latest fitness equipment. Workout Central has both strength training (leg press, let extension, seated chest press, arm curl, and abdominal curl machines) and cardiovascular equipment (recumbent stepper, elliptical and treadmills).Workout Central allows individuals who are in appropriate physical and mental health to use the exercise equipment independently.
