Inclement Weather Policy:
When Cobb County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Multipurpose Center- sponsored classes, special events and programs will be postponed to a later date. The Center will be opened for drop-in activities (billiards, library) if staff can safely open the Center; call to confirm.

Nestled in a unique campus-like community setting, East Cobb Senior Center is adjacent to Mt. View Library, The Art Place, Mt. View Community Center and the Aquatic Center. The Center is approximately 1/2 mile South of the intersection of Shallowford and Sandy Plains Roads, providing convenient and easy access.
The lodge-like 21,000 square foot facility features an exposed beamed two-story lobby; an inviting atrium area overlooks a beautiful landscaped campus. Special features include a large dance floor, regulation billiards tables; a ventilated art room; computer room; classroom; craft room; a library; and exercise studio with sprung wood floor.
The Center provides an array of social, recreational an educational programs for active seniors over 55. Classes are offered quarterly, including yoga, line dancing, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Zumba Gold, Focus on Fitness, Flex and Stretch and Strength Training, all geared toward the senior population. Senior clubs which meet at the Center include Golden Kiwanis, Lockheed Martin Retirees and National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). Special events are offered monthly, as well as day trips designed for your interests and enjoyment.
Senior Services' transportation is not provided, but adequate parking space is available at all Centers.
