Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services is a team of over 620 sworn firefighters and 25 civilian employees. Our Department is accredited through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International and certified by the State of Georgia. We strive to provide superior fire, rescue, and emergency services to the citizens and visitors of Cobb County. Our staff takes pride in providing proficient, professional, and compassionate services while continuously promoting life safety within the county. We accomplish this by practicing prevention, planning, education, and training.
We place tremendous value on the relationships our Fire personnel build in the communities they serve. The success of the Department is due to both the strong commitment of our employees and the support they receive from the entire community. We believe the hard work and the professionalism of our firefighters, inspectors, educators, and civilian staff members, contribute to a safe environment enjoyed by those who live, work, and visit our great county.
You will find that our employees are dedicated, well-trained, and enthusiastic professionals who take pride in their work. They are ready to work with you to make your home, your workplace, and this community a safer place for us all. In fact, Cobb County is proud of its ISO fire rating of class 3, which means we have the tools, talent and people to protect our community.
