west-cobbSince it's opening in March 1997 in rural west Cobb County, West Cobb Senior Center has been a magnet for active adults age 55 and better. The stacked stone facade and two-story fireplace add to the Center's welcoming atmosphere. It's pastoral setting inside Lost Mountain Park belies the fury of activity within the lodge-like facility.

Our philosophy is to enrich the body, mind and spirit. We accomplish this through seminars, dances, art, computer classes, and more. Clubs meeting at the Center include Lost Mountain Golden Kiwanis, ADK Retired Teachers, and Cobb County Govt. Retired Employees.  There are also clubs for photography, reading, bridge, hiking, billiards, woodcarving, choral and golfing enthusiasts. The day trips have taken us from sites of state history to festivals and theater. Special events have included Veteran tributes, magic shows, fashion shows, talent contests and Cobb County Senior Games.

Senior Services' transportation is not provided, but adequate parking space is available.
